LAHORE - Aqeel Khan, M Shoaib, M Abid and Muzammil Murtaza made into the semifinals of the 7th Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan National Ranking Tennis Tournaments 2021/22 semifinals at PTF Tennis Complex Islamabad. 
In the men’s singles quarterfinals, Aqeel Khan beat Shahzad Khan 6-2, 6-2, M Shoaib beat Heera Ashiq 6-4, 6-2, M Abid beat Mudassir Murtaza 6-2, 6-2 and Muzammil Murtaza beat Yousaf Khalil 6-1, 6-1 to make into the semifinals. 
In the ladies’ singles semifinals, Sarah Mahboob played well against Noor Malik (Wapda) and outpaced her by 6-4, 6-1. Wapda’s Ushna Suhail was in sublime form and overpowered Mahvish Chishtie 6-0, 6-1 to enter the final, where she will take on Sarah Mahboob today (Sunday). 
In the boy’s U-18 singles quarterfinals, Hasheesh Kumar beat Shaeel Durab 6-1, 6-3, Ahmed Nael Qureshi beat Faizan Fayyaz 6-3, 3-6, 7-5, Sami Zeb beat Uzair Khan 6-4, 6-1 and Mahatir Muhammad beat Talha Khan 6-3, 7-5. In girls U-18 singles quarterfinals, Amna Ali Qayum beat Soha Ali 6-2, 6-1, Sheeza Sajid beat Zaineb Ali Raja 6-3, 7-5 and Natalia Zaman beat Fatima Ali Raja 6-0, 6-0. 
In the boy’s U-14 singles quarterfinals, Asad Zaman beat Abdul Basit 4-1, 4-2, Abubakar Talha beat Amir Mazari 4-1, 5-4(3), M Salar beat Zohaib Afzal Malik 4-2, 5-3 and Ibrahim Ashraf beat Hamza Roman 5-4(9), 4-1. In the boys/girls U-12 singles quarterfinals, Abubakar Talha beat Haziq Aasim 4-1, 4-0, Nabeel Ali Qayum beat Lalarukh Sajid 4-0, 4-0 and Amir Mazari beat Abdul Basit 4-1, 4-0.
