Niall Horan does not think that one direction is “cool-enough” to perform at the Glastonbury festival.
The 21 year old said that he and his band members Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Harry Styles would not get to perform at the festival though they enjoyed attending the event over the weekend.
He said “We are not cool enough to play at Glastonbury . It’s so cool, we have loads of fun. We were there for a day but we had to leave at 1 am because we had a gig, but we are going back next year for sure.”
One direction has taken a break from their on the road tour. They last performed Helsinki, Finland on June 27. They will next perform in San Diego, California on 9th July.
Niall and Louis had travelled to Glastonbury through a helicopter. Though the artists enjoyed relaxing and watching other artists perform but they were at the same time eager to return to their tour, but Niall thinks they would spend an entire weekend partying at Glastonbury in the future.
One direction was brought together by Simon Cowell on the X factor.
Moreover Niki Minaj has stated that she dreams of following Kanye West and headline Glastonbury.The rapper said that she “is just waiting for the offer and can already do the British accent”.
Organizer of Glastonbury Emily Eavis said that the 2016 Glastonbury headliners have already been booked with Muse and Foo fighters currently leading the race.
