FBR to prosecute 7.2 million tax evaders

It has been decided by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to prosecute 7.2 million tax evaders across the country.  

The Finance Bill has incorporated strict rules to take stern action against tax evaders.   

As per the Finance Bill, 10 crore tax evaders will be arrested. A person who refuses to submit the credentials and later on fails to pay Rs 2.5 crore will be apprehended.  

According to the Finance Bill, the FBR will have the authority to sale the hidden assets and properties of tax evaders in a period of 15 days.
