Colombo : Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka on Friday, the Lankan Ministry of Defence said on Monday, reported Colombo Gazette. The Pakistan army chief is making the visit upon an invitation extended by the Commander of the Sri Lankan Army Lt-Gen Crishanthe De Silva. During his five-day visit, Gen Sharif is expected to call on President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, Chief of Defence Staff, Commanders of the Navy and Air Force and also visit several military establishments.
