Former chief secretary Fazalur Rehman has sworn in as the caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh on Saturday.
Governor Sindh Mohammad Zubair took oath from the caretaker CM Sindh in a ceremony at Governor House in Karachi.
Former chief minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and opposition leader khawaja Izhar had finalised the name of former chief secretary Fazalur Rehman for the interim setup.
Khawaja Izhar said that they had nominated Rehman as he was a neutral individual when it came to politics, while also has a vast experience in administration and governance.
Previously, Fazalur Rehman served as Sindh chief secretary from 2007 to 2010, after which he was retired from service.
