Man shot dead  in Murree

ISLAMABAD- A man was shot dead in Patrita allegedly over a monetary issue, informed a police spokesman on Monday. The incident took place near chair lifts at Patriata, New Murree, the limits of Police Station Murree. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Abbas, whose dead body was moved to hospital by the rescuers for autopsy, he said. He added police are busy in investigating the murder case and making efforts to arrest the killers. Meanwhile, police have also rounded up two men for their alleged involvement in sodomising two children in different parts of district, he said. According to him, a citizen lodged complaint with PS Wah Saddar and accused Umer Munir of sodomising his 12-year-old son in a graveyard. Similarly, another man reported to PS Naseerabad that William had sexually assaulted his six-year-old son in an under construction building. Police have registered cases and held the accused while carrying raids, the spokesman said.  On the other hand, Pirwadhai police arrested two men on charges of resorting to aerial firing while celebrating Basant and seized weapons from their possession. The police came into action against the accused after a video, showing some men resorting to intense aerial firing with automatic weapons on a rooftop, went viral on social media.  
A case has been registered against the accused by the police, said police spokesman. He said other accused are being identified through vidoes who would also be held soon.
