LAHORE - Bahria Basketball Academy and Nasir Basketball Acad­emy reached the final of the 1st Shahida Parveen Kayani Cup Inter-Academies Bas­ketball Tournament 2022 at International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court Aram Bagh, Karachi. The special guest of the final will be DIG South Sharjeel Kharal, who will distribute prizes among the players. In the first semifinal, Nasir Academy defeated Civil Academy by 40-33. Yash Ku­mar (10), Saad Salahuddin (8) and Samad Khan (8) did well for winners and Moaz Ashraf (12), Daniel Marwat (8) and Ozid Ashraf (7) for losers. In the second semi­final, Bahria Academy beat Usman Academy by 60-54. Aun Akram (23), Ali Hassan (17) and Kashan Khan (12) played well for winners and Azbar Hassan (21), M Man­zoor (12) and Al-Tamish (10) for the losers. Pakistan Rang­ers DSR Malik Muhammad Ishaq was the special guest during semifinals.
