ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair federal cabinet meeting today to take the cabinet members into confidence regarding the negotiations between government and proscribed Tehreek-i-Labaik Pakistan (TLP).
The cabinet meeting will also discuss the economic and political situation of the country.
According to details, during the federal cabinet meeting the PM will also present his stance regarding demands raised by banned TLP protesters. The appointment of Board of Governors of Sheikh Zaid Post Graduate Medical Institute, Lahore and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences are also part of the meeting agenda.
The meeting will also be briefed on the Economic Indicators of first three months of the fiscal year 2021-22. The cabinet meeting will also be briefed about lifting of ban on import of vintage cars and the meeting will likely to approve Amendment in Rules of Business of 1973 for construction of new houses, approval for reappointment of Brigadier (R) Shujaul Hassan as CEO Pakistan Steel Mills while restructuring of Gems and Jewel Development Company will also be approved at the federal cabinet meeting.
