LAHORE - Asad Zaman (McDonald’s) and Bilal Asim breezed into the U-16 singles semifinals of the 8th KC Indus Pharma National Seniors & Juniors Tennis Championship at Karachi Club. 
In U-16 singles quarterfinals, Asad Zaman (McDonald’s) played well against Raahim Veqar and outpaced him with a score of 6-1, 6-4 while Bilal Asim played tremendous tennis against Shehryar Anis and thrashed him 6-0, 6-0. Earlier in U-16 singles first round, Muneer Derbari (Hyd) beat Kashan Tariq 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, Bilal Asim (Lhr) beat Aijaz Abbasi 6-0, 6-0, Ahsan Ahmed w/o Yousuf Haleem, Ibrahim Noman beat Zaeem Ghaffor 6-4, 6-2, Asad Zaman beat Danish Hayat 6-0, 6-1. 
In U-14 singles second round, Asad Zaman (McDonald’s) beat Muneer Derbari 4-1, 4-1, Shehryar Anis beat Kaamil Sayeed 4-2, 4-0 and Basim Ali beat Shehzer Ali 4-2, 5-3. In U-12 singles first round, Dalia Shazim beat Haziq Areejo 4-1, 5-4, Aahil Imran beat Abid Bachani 5-3, 4-2, Laraib Shamsi beat Rayyan Dandia 4-2, 4-2. 
In U-12 singles second round, Zohaib Malik (Lahore) beat Faiz Ilyas 4-0, 4-0, Abdul Rehman (Lhr) beat Atif Ali Bachani 4-0, 4-0 and Hajra (Lhr) beat M Abubaker 5-3, 4-1. In U-10 singles first round, Atif Ali beat Muzammil 4-0, 4-1, Rashid Ali beat Eschelle 4-1, 4-0, Moosa Admani beat Aidh Imran 4-0, 4-2, Rohan Das beat Arsh Imran 4-0, 4-0, Emre beat Abdullah 4-1, 4-0 and Ammar beat Hamza 4-0, 5-3. 
In the men’s singles second round, Mahatir beat Ayaz 6-1, 6-1 and Ashar Mir beat Zaeem 6-1, 6-1. In men’s doubles first round, Anil/Bilal beat Hasan/Hussain 8-0, Shameal/Ali beat Bilal/Shahnawaz 8-0. In 35 plus doubles first round, Vinod/Fahad beat Abbas/Kamran 8-4. In 35 plus doubles QFs, Anil/Bilal beat Ali/Murtazain 8-2 and Nomi/Rafi beat Omair/Fuad 8-5.
