OKARA - Chuchak police on Friday claimed to have smashed a gang of dacoits by arresting its four members during a special operation. The police also seized illegal weapons and cash from the bandits during the body search.
Under the special directions of SHO PS Chuchak Ijaz Ahmad Bhatti, a team of Chuchak police comprising, SI, Mohammad Mansha, ASI, Malik Atta Mohammad, TASI, Intikhab-ul- Hassan, TASI, Zafarullah, HC, Tahir Shaheen, HC, Liaqat Ali, HC, Mohammad Zubair, Irfan Haider, Mohammad Yasin, Ali waqas, Boo Mohammad Qadri, Sajid Ali, and Mashkoor Qadir constables arrested accused, Allah Rakhha, Aamir, Mubeen and Akhtar Ali Mumtaz who were hidden in the bushes with the intention to commit docaity. The police recovered illegal weapons, Rs0.7 million in cash during the body search of the said accused persons and lodged FIR, No, 105/21,U/S,399/402, whereas co-accused Mohammad Riaz alias Rizu flew away from the spot.
According to Khalid Mehmood, the spokesman of district police Okara, DPO Okara Faisal Shahzad appreciated the SHO PS Chuchak including the said police party and announced certificates of appreciation for the said police party.
