Past in Perspective

“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.”

– Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee thoroughly trained in martial arts, practiced the art of fluidity of spirit by starring in feature films when his career as a trainer plateaued. He preached all his life the philosophy of fluidity and having the ability to adapt to any form or shape without any sort of hindrance. We find a reemergence of this philosophy very eminently played out within our political arenas, where once friends can become easy enemies. Where political parties are circumspect to changing their discourses and agendas as thoroughly and unpredictably as the weather. Little can be said for how such an entrepreneurial and fulfilling philosophical outlook can be so abjectly misused.
