The world of advertising having achieved such vast dimensions has opened avenues of income and progress for scores of people. Had the commercial enterprises who invest millions in it not received their money's worth the trade would not have progressed to such an extent. Within a decade or so the small advertisement boards and banners have grown to building full-sized billboards. While the business community and others involved in the industry think that these boards add to the decor of the atmosphere, the government functionaries think otherwise. They feel that apart from posing a life hazard, the giant-sized billboards spoil beauty of the cities and must be removed or cut to size. A battle is on between the two.
