PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would host International Women and Men Badminton Championship in November this year where international players would participate. KP Secretary Sports Abid Majeed said this during the opening ceremony of the 58th National Women and Men Badminton Championship to be held at Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex, Charsadda. He said KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has approved the proposal put by PBF Secretary Wajid Ali Ch wherein 25 teams of the world would take part. “We have enough time but we have already started our preparations for hosting the international event in November this year and got a go ahead signal from PBF Secretary, who is also chairman Badminton Development in Asia.” Earlier, Abid Majid formally inaugurated the 58th National Badminton Women and Men Championship, which is being participated by more than 300 male and female players from across the country.
