The Anti-Terrorism Court in Faisalabad issued three days physical remand of the accused of burning to death to a girl on the police request for investigation of the case.
As per detail, the incident occurred when the young suspect visited the residence of the victim with his marriage proposal, according to the girl’s family members who added that the proposal was turned down, upon which the suspect got enraged and lit the girl on fire after sprinkling petrol on her. The Police had registered a case against accused on the complaint of Shoukat Ali father of the girl.
