Minister for Planning and Development, Asad Umar has announced that 2.5 million doses of Moderna vaccine have been received by Pakistan on Saturday, which were sent from the United States. 

Asad Umar stated in a tweet on Saturday that Moderna vaccine is specifically for a certain group of people, who either have to travel for work or have to leave for study purposes to different countries, as there are a some countries who are only accepting some specific vaccines. 

Additionally, American President Joe Biden's progressive policy on Covid-19 has also been  lauded by Asad Umar.
