A total of six people, including four women lost their lives to heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds in Gujrat on Friday. 

As per the details, 72-year-old labourer lost his life when a wall caved in near old Fruit Mandi area. On the other hand, 70-year-old Mehdi Khan and his wife were killed when a billboard fell in Lari Adda area. 
A woman in Green Town area also lost her life when wall of a house caved in. 

Lastly, two sisters in Madina Sayedan also lost their lives owing to heavy rain which resulted in a wall collapse.  

On the contrary, emergency has been imposed in Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital by the district administration.
