Three boys of different ages have had their vision restored after successful cornea transplant surgeries at Lahore’s Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

It is to be noted, that this was the first time the cornea surgeries were performed successfully at Ganga Ram.

The procedure was performed by Prof. Huma Kayani on the three boys of ages were 14, 17 and 20 respectively. The United States (US) donated three corneas to the hospital’s Ophthalmology Department.

Moreover, Professor Kayani said that the deserving patients were given free of cost treatment.
