NAWABSHAH - Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Wednesday said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari received party in heirship and his childish speeches are going in our favour.
Addressing a press conference at Sakrand area of district Shaheed Benazirabad, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Bilawal Bhutto is politically immature and his political training will take time. He said that balloon of opposition has inflated as all the allies were with us and Chaudhary brothers have openly posed their confidence in Prime Minister.
Speaking about the role of PPP, Qureshi said that PPP has widened the gap between Sindhi and Urdu speaking community and has destroyed Karachi.
Regarding local government law promulgated by PPP, foreign minister said that all political parties have registered their protest on this law and MQM has always extended its support at every stage.
Regarding freedom of media, Qureshi said that earlier there was only one media house but now scores of media houses are working at present.
He said that every person is carrying a camera in his pocket and using social media frequently. He said that 44 percent money of country has gone into corruption and this is not my statement but international institutions have also endorsed it.
Qureshi presented himself for an account of past three years but in reply demanded the account of the fifteen years rule of PPP. He said that the opposition is demanding an assembly session, and we are ready to let them present no confidence move. Calling Bilawal his son, Qureshi said that it is time to learn, first learn then speak, he said that speaking in a loud voice makes no difference to anyone.
Qureshi said that during visits to Larkana, Khairpur, Nawabshah and other towns and cities, we witnessed the status of PPP. He said that the people of Sindh are facing a bad political and economic situation and have fallen victim to unemployment.
He said that people of Sindh tried PPP’s rule for the last fifteen years, you have no vote bank in Punjab, KP and Balochistan and the public is now well aware of the facts that it has received in the last fifteen years.
He said that 1,131 students have crossed the border from Ukraine and more than 3,000 students are still stranded there. Qureshi said that the borders of Ukraine are attached with three countries and I have talked to the Ukrainian Foreign Minister on the issue of our student. He said that we are in contact with foreign ministers worldwide, we are taking care of our children and are in contact with their parents also.
He said that they attempted to raise a wall between Sindhi and Urdu speaking communities but we are here to make them one. Qureshi said that no assembly member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is a member of any group and we all are under the banner of only one party. Qureshi said that he is in contact with ambassadors and envoys all over the world, our envoys in Geneva and New York are in contact with me. He said that there are 114 Pakistani Missions in the world where we have to send our Pak policy.
