LARKANA  -  Vice Chancellor (VC) Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU), Larkana, paid a visit to Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College and Civil Hospital, Sukkur on Sunday to inspect the arrangement so far made for treatment of COVID-19 patients. 

She presided over a meeting of faculty members which was also participated by District Health Officer (DHO), Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Taslim Akhtar Khamisani, Principal Dr Zulfiqar Soomro, COVID Focal Person Dr Saleh Muhammad Channa and others. She directed the complete work of the High Dependency Unit (HDU) to make it functional and also visited ICU.

Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Larkana, Imran Qureshi, paid a brief surprise visit to Naundero on Sunday to inspect the closed shops and implementation of SOPs by the residents. He offered free facemasks to the residents including a boy and advised them and the shopkeepers to fully observe SOPs issued by the government to save their precious lives and those of their loved ones.
