Fall of water level in Terbela

After the monsoon season the water level falls down in Terbela and Mangla. The water level falls to around 65.15 feet and 56 feet. The maximum conservation level of 1,550 and 1142 feet. Accordingly, the water will go down in coming months and the canals will be closed to save water for the future. Consequently there will be a shortage of electricity during winters. The shortage is estimated to be around 500 to 600 MW till December or January.

The government needs to deal with the problem as soon as possible so that the people do not have to face electricity shortage during Winters.
