Justice Javed Iqbal, son of the famous poet Allama Iqbal, passed away earlier this morning at the age of 90 n Lahore.

He was battling cancer at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital.

Justice Javed Iqbal had served as a senior justice at the Supreme Court of Pakistan and had also been the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court.

His funeral prayers will be offered at 4 pm in Gulberg, Lahore.
