LAHORE - Pakistan Ulema Council chairman Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi has announced to carry out countrywide campaign for stability of Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club yesterday, he also announced to convene ‘Islamic Unity Conference’ on October 05 in Islamabad.

“The meeting is called to create awareness among the nation about the issue of Kashmir and Indian aggression,” said Ashrafi. Member of PUC central executive body including Zahid Mehmood Qasmi, Ayub Safdar, Abdul Hameed Watto, Asad Ullah, Asad Zikriya, Hafiz Amjad and Shabbir Ahmed Usmani was also with him during the conference.

The PUC body decided to endorse decisions of ‘World Islamic Summit’ that held on 14th of Zil-Haj in Makkah under the aegis of ‘Rabita-e-Aalim-e-Islami’ for restoration of peace in Islamic World.
