LAHORE - The Punjab Healthcare Commission has closed down 32 fake treatment centres of quacks in different parts of the city during the last two days, and initiated further proceedings against them.

The PHC sealed 32 businesses of quacks, which comprised 19 general quacks, nine fake dentists, three hakeems and one bone-setter. These quacks were posing as general physicians. The closed down fake treatment centres included  Umer Medical Store, Danish Medical Centre, Khursheed Homeopathic Clinic, Nadeem Medical Store and Clinic, Abu Badar Shaheed Free Dispensary, Abdul Razzaq Shoaib Clinic, Bannu Hijama Centre, Rashid Clinic, Markaz Physiotherapy, Aziz Clinic and Ma’Sha’Allah Hijama Centre.
