Wah cantt - Residents of Officers Colony and Lala Rukh area of Wah Cantonment are almost deprived of road facility.

A large number of residents of Officers Colony Phase-IV and Lala Rukh told this reporter that the approaching roads leading to these sectors from main road have been in dilapidated condition for many years.

They said that in case of rain, rainy and sewerage water is accumulated in ditches appeared on the road. They added that due to ditches on the road many minor and schoolchildren face difficulties, especially during rains. They said that to get rid of the difficulty, the residents have written many applications to the Cantonment Executive Officer for carrying out maintenance work of the approaching roads. But despite lapse of years, the Cantonment Executive officer Wah Cantt has put the public demand at the back burner, resultantly masses especially women and school children are suffering. 

The concerned residents have appealed to the Chairman POF to take stock of the situation and direct the Cantonment Board authorities to start maintenance work on the said approaching roads without any further delay in the best interests of the masses.
