5.3 magnitude earthquake strikes Islamabad, parts of KP

A moderate 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck the federal capital and various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday afternoon which led to panicked residents coming out on the streets.

The quake shook Peshawar, Landi Kotal, Swat, and surrounding areas.

The earthquake's epicenter was Koh Hindukush.

The depth of the earthquake was measured to be 159 kilometers. Therefore, no casualties have so far been reported.
