Construction of houses in G -15/3 , G-14/1,2 banned

ISLAMABAD-Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Sadar) Marryam Khan prohibited the construction of houses, loading and un-loading of construction material in the limits of villages falling in sector G 15/3 and G-14/1,2. The ban has been imposed under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898 for a period of Two Months with immediate effect. The order issued under section 144 says that it has come to knowledge of sub-divisional magistrate that some people are constructing houses in the villages of said Sectors. Which have been or being acquired for the development of housing scheme of Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation. The houses are being constructed only for the sake of improvement and to enhance the compensation of built up property, which is against the law. Therefore, sufficient grounds to proceed under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898 and immediate prevention is desirable and the directions hereinafter appearing are necessary in order to prevent the construction for the safety of the general public property. Notwithstanding, the expiry of this order, everything done, action taken, obligation, liability, penalty or punishment incurred, investigation, enquiry or proceeding pending against offenders in the court of Magistrate having powers under the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898 and punishment in respect of this order shall be continued or launched as if this order has not expired.
