Islamabad police win shooting competition

ISLAMABAD - Islamabad police bagged first position in All Pakistan Police Martyrs Memorial Shooting Competition here on Friday. The event was organised by National Police Bureau at Police Line Headquarters, Islamabad. IGP Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman awarded the team with certificates along with cash prizes in appreciation of the team’s performance. Addressing the team, IGP Islamabad said that you have shown excellent skilful shooting performance and made Islamabad police proud. He hoped that such progress would continue in sports competitions. The event is held every year to pay tribute to martyrs and encourage the police personnel. Teams from IB, FC, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, SSU Sindh and Motorway Police participated in the shooting competitions. 
IGP Islamabad said that Islamabad Police has the honour of securing the first position in these competitions for the third time in a row. During shooting competitions, women police along with male police personnel also demonstrated brilliant performance. Islamabad Police bagged first position, while Punjab Police and Sindh Police got second and third position respectively.
