KP U21 Games ends, Peshawar win  overall trophy 

PESHAWAR- Peshawar District clinched the overall trophy of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa U21 Inter-District Games, which concluded here at Peshawar Sports Complex on Friday with hands full of joys and memories. Provincial Minister for Higher Education Kamran Khan Bangash was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony attended by more than 5000 male players’ part of the Games in 10 different disciplines.

 Kamran Khan Bangash was accompanied by Additional Secretary Sports Tashfeen Haider, DG Sports Asfandyar Khan Khattak, Director Sports of Merged Area Pir Abdul Shah, Director Youth KP Saleem Jan Marwat, Director Operation Syed Saqlain Shah, Director Development Saleem Raza.  

 

Soon after the prize distribution ceremony, the players from all 35 districts happily left for their respective districts and homes with gold medal, silver medals, bronze medals, cash prizes and a very important monthly sports scholarship of Rs. 10,000 for gold medal winner, Rs. 8000 for silver medalists and Rs. 5000 for the bronze medalists.
