PML-N all set for power show in Peshawar

PESHAWAR - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is all set to hold a public meeting in the provincial metropolis today which would be addressed by the former premier Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz along with many other prominent leaders.

The power show will be held on motorway northern bypass for which all the arrangements have already been finalised.

The PML-N KP President Ameer Muqam along with his cabinet members were working hard to make it a successful show, the very first gathering of the party in the provincial metropolis since the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif as prime minister on July 28 by the apex court.

Believed to be attended by a large number of people, the entry and exit routes of the city have been well-decorated by displaying huge welcoming banners and posters carrying the photographs of Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz.

Comparatively, it would be a mammoth power show than that of the party had so far held in other parts of the country; the PML-N office-bearers said adding that people of the KP had pinned high hope on the N-League leadership.

Moreover, the PML-N leadership would come hard on its political rivals particularly in the Peshawar gathering especially the PTI for its failure to deliver in the KP being ruled by it for over four and half years.

The PML-N leadership while speaking to the Peshawar gathering would highlight various development projects its federal government had either completed or near to completion in different parts of the country so that to compare its performance with its political rivals who are also governing other provinces presently.
