The horrific killing of more than 132 children in Peshawar shows that even with an ongoing army operation in FATA; terrorists were able to strike Peshawar. The reason is simple, because Peshawar is close to FATA. Without proper government and control in FATA, Peshawar can never be safe. I think the Government should convert FATA into a regular region of Pakistan and to help ensure a smooth transition, the entire region should be added to the KPK province, so that the KPK Government can supply experienced and skilled personnel for the new Government offices that understand the local cultures.
