SIALKOT-The Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) resorted to indiscriminate intensified mortal shelling on Pakistani border villages in Shakargarh sector of Sialkot Working Boundary.
According to the local senior officials of the Punjab Rangers, the Indian BSF used heavy mortar shells on Sakho Chak, Sukmaal,Tambar Chak and surrounding villages along the Sialkot Working Boundary, targeting the civilian population during the thick foggy and much cold weather.
It was the first indiscriminate Indian shelling and ceasefire violation of the 2018 by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) along the Working Boundary. It created panic among the local people. Indian shelling remained continued for about more than an hour. Several houses were reportedly damaged in these border villages by the mortar shells.
Howver, no injury of death was yet reported here. The Punjab Rangers responded instantly and effectively in befitting manners to the enemny, making the Indian guns silent, said the local senior officials of the Punjab Rangers.

Mills employee burnt to death

APP-SARGODHA-A mill employee was burnt to death after falling into a boiler in the precincts of Shahpur police station here on Wednesday.
Police said that Muhammad Naveed resident of Shahpur was working at the boiler house section of a local Sugar Mill when he fell into the boiler and burnt seriously. He was shifted to THQ Hospital where he passed away.
Meanwhile, Additional Session Judge Muhammad Yaqoob on Wednesday acquitted two accused in a murder case of Dhrema police station.
The court sources said that two accused including Ahmad Sher and Khalid, residents of village Mangowal, strangled to death their grandmother Rani Bibi over family dispute in January 19, 2016. Police registered a case against the accused and presented challans in the court for trial. After hearing arguments of the counsels the court acquitted both the accused on benefit of doubt due to insufficient proof against them.
