Afghanistan’s ambassador to Pakistan Dr Omar Zakhilwal met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi, the Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement on today.

The ISPR statement said, two dignitaries exchanged ideas on matter of mutual interest, regional security and current peace and security situation in Afghanistan was also discussed in the meeting.

Ambassador Dr Zakhilwal appreciated the role of General Bajwa in improvement of bilateral ties between the two countries, statement  added.
