LAHORE - Huzaifa Shahid and Abdul Ahad reached the U-13 final of 2nd Combaxx Sports Karachi Open Squash Championship at Jahangir Khan Roshan Khan Squash Complex.
In boys U-13 semifinals, Huzaifa Shahid thumped Syed Savi 3-0 in 10 minutes with the score being 11/7, 11/2, 11/5. Abdul Ahad played outpaced Haris Khalil 3-1 as the score was 11/5, 9/11, 11/7, 11/8. In boys U-15 semifinals, Abdul Basit defeated Ali Ahmed Osmani 3-2; 11/4, 9/11, 11/9, 9/11, 11/7 while Zohaib beat Zahid 3-1; 12/10, 11/8, 9/11, 11/8. In girls U-19 semis, Aina Sheikh outclassed Saliya 3-0 as the score was 11/6, 11/1, 11/7 while Aina Aziz outsmarted Nimra 3-1; 11/3, 11/2, 8/11, 11/2.
In the boys U-19 semifinals, Anas routed M Zaman 3-1; 11/8, 4/11, 11/4, 11/9 while M Ali defeated Saeed 3-1 with the score being 5/11, 11/6, 11/7, 12/10.
