HASILPUR - The resident of Basti Masetaan, Moza Dera Izzat complained that their children have been left unvaccinated for the last two years.
Zahoor Ahmed, the resident of the area, said that their children had not vaccinated for the last two years and no one from the Health Department visited to these areas despite repeated requests. 
Moreover Lady Health Workers Irum Ayub and Rehana and Lady Health Supervisor Samrana confirmed that the children had not been administered vaccines.
Mohammad Nawaz, the vaccinator of the area, submitted bogus statistics about vaccination to the department concern and destroyed the costly vaccine. The LHW’S and LHS had complained against the situation, but the supervisory staff was supporting the accused..
Bahawalpur DHO Dr. Saeed Asghar said that a strict action would be taken against the vaccinator for not administering drops to children.
Girls’ school runs sans furniture: The tall claims of the government over providing missing facilities for the educational institutes of the province seemed a big joke at least in this neglected tehsil of Bahawalpur division, Khairpur Tamewali.
Reportedly, the only Govt Girls High School in this tehsil is running without basic facilities. The students have to attend classes under the open sky as there is no furniture and shortage of classrooms in the school.
The rulers should take notice of this situation and order for immediate provision of all necessary facilities to the said and other ignored schools of the area.
