ISLAMABAD   -  Tarnol police have booked some 22 men including two persons who died 20 years ago in a firing and land grabbing case, informed sources on Monday. The two persons who died some 20 years ago have been identified as Karam Dad and Ramazan, sources said. The case was registered on complaint of Jamshed Khan Barki, the cousin of Prime Minister of Pakistan, they said. However, no arrest was made so far, sources said. According to sources, Jamshed Khan Barki lodged a complaint with Police Station (PS) Tarnol on April 23, 2021 stating he, his brother and sisters are owners of a land measuring 281 kanals and 5 marla in Sirae Madhu in Islamabad.  He added Muhammad Iqbal, Raja Babar Zaman, Raja Amir, Mir Daad, Abdul Waheed, Muhammad Shahid, Muhammad Asad, Zahid Khan, Chaudhry Akseer, Chauhdry Zubair, Adil, Imran, Umer and Karam Dad had occupied the land illegally. “On the day of incident, I along with Chaudhry Waqas, Raja Mansha and Malik Tahir Navid arrived at my land where the aforementioned persons were digging up land to build a wall,” the applicant said. He alleged he asked the persons not to grab his piece of land on which more than 22 armed men including Karam Dad and Ramzan attacked and resorted to aerial firing to terrorise them.  He alleged the attackers also hurled threats of dire consequences at him and his companions. He asked police to register case and start investigation.
