Rs35m for CM house CCTV cameras

LAHORE - The Punjab government has approved Rs35 million for CCTV cameras to be installed at the CM residence, Muslim League House. The amount is too much for the said purpose. But no police officer gave comment on the issue.
A summary was moved by the IGP. After the approval from the Home department, the finance department gave the nod. No officer raised a question on the amount to be spent on cameras.
Police officers conditioning anonymity told that besides purchase of cameras, control room gadget was also purchased.
However, an officer of the finance department told that CDG spent massive amount of over Rs20 million for installation of cameras on another VVIP.
