Asad reaches U-16, U-14 semis in KC Indus Pharma National Tennis

LAHORE - Asad Zaman (McDonald’s) reached the U-16 and U-14 semifinals in the 8th KC Indus Pharma National Junior and Senior Tennis Championship 2021 by beating his respective rivals in the semifinals played at Karachi Club.
According to information made available here on Friday, in U-16 singles semifinal, Asad Zaman beat M Ibrahim Noman 6-1, 6-2 while in U-16 singles quarterfinal, Abdul Hannan beat Muneer Derbar 6-2, 6-3 while in U-14 singles semifinals, Asad Zaman (Lhr) beat Shehryar Anees 4-1, 5-4 and Samer Zaman beat Aisam Malik 4-0, 2-4, 4-0. In girls 14 singles semifinal, Inaya Saeed beat Eshal Zain 4-0, 4-2. 
In men’s singles semifinal, Parbat Kumar beat Hasheesh Kumar 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 while in men’s singles quarterfinal, Farhan Altaf beat Vinod Das 6-2, 6-4. 
In juniors 18 singles semifinals, Hasheesh Kumar beat Bilal Asim 6-1, 6-4 and Mahatir Muhammad beat Abdul Hannan 6-2, 6-2. In girls 18 singles quarterfinals, Inaya Saeed beat Wania Bhagat 6-2, 6-4 and Zainab Ali w/o Aiman. 
In U-12 singles quarterfinals, Zohaib Malik (Lhr) beat Ali Bachani (Hyd) 4-0, 4-1 while Samer Zaman beat Shehzer Ali 4-0, 4-1. In U-10 singles quarterfinals, Abdul Rehman (Lhr) beat Atif Bachani (Hyd) 4-0, 4-0 and Rashid Bachani (Hyd) beat Zayd Zaman 4-2, 4-1. In Juniors 18 doubles quarterfinals, Soyam/Hemen beat Shehzer Ali/Eijaz 6-2, 7-6(4) and Zaeem Ghaffor/Baqir Ali beat Shamoon/A Abbasi. 
In U-14 doubles semifinals, Asad Zaman/Shehryar Anees won with a score of 4-0, 4-0 while Dhuraf Das/Muneer Derbari beat Kamil Sayyed/Taimoor 4-2, 4-2. In U-12 doubles quarterfinals, Laraib Shamsi/Mahd beat Meer Abbas/Rohan Das 4-1, 4-0. In 35 plus doubles semifinals, Asad Ali/Khalid Ali beat Nomi Qamar/Rafi Derbari 8-3 and Anil Das/Bilal beat Ali/Shamel Tajamul 8-5. 
In 45 plus doubles quarterfinal, Fouad Saeed/Atyab beat Rehan Mansoori/Waseem Hyder 8-6. In 55 plus doubles, Humiyoon Ayub/Akbar Hayat beat Altaf Aziz/Nadeen Hafeez 8-3. In 65 plus doubles semifinal, Altaf Hussain/Ilyas Lashkerwala beat Akbar Hayat/Humayun Ayub 8-1.
