Judge, wife, two children killed in Swabi gun attack

| PM strongly condemns ‘gruesome act’

SWABI   -   Four persons were killed and two others sustained injuries in a gun attack which took place near Anbar Interchange Swabi district of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, police reported on Sunday. 

ATC judge Aftab Afridi came under targeted attack near the Indus River crossing while he was returning to Islamabad from Swat on the Peshawar Motorway, police investigators said. 

According to officials, unidentified assailants opened indiscriminate fire on a car passing through Anbar Interchange which resulted in the killing of a judge of ATC, his wife and two children. Two guards were also injured in the firing. Police cordoned off the area to apprehend the perpetrator behind this gruesome murder. Investigations are in progress.

Also, Prime Minister Imran Khan strongly condemned the murder of ATC judge Aftab Afridi, his wife and two children at Anbar Interchange, Swabi. In a tweet today Sunday), he said, the perpetrators of this gruesome act will be apprehended and dealt with full severity of the law.
