LAHORE - A local court Saturday extended till September 4 the interim bail earlier granted to police encounter specialist, Abid Boxer in as many as 10 criminal cases that include murder, kidnapping and dacoities.  Advocate Azar Latif Khan appearing for Boxer, who had absconded and stayed abroad for about eight years, prayed the Additional Session Judge, Rahmat Ali for allowing extension in the interim bail of his client. He assailed veracity of the cases registered against Abid Boxer and contended they were baseless and without proofs and motivated out of vendetta against his client. The court allowed the extension till September 4 with the direction to the applicant Boxer, to join the investigations into the cases against him in the meantime.
