Hometown celebrates Arshad’s qualification

KHANEWAL - Celebrations started at Arshad Nadeem’s house in Mian Chanu when he directly qualified for the final of men’s javelin with a throw of 85.16 meters at the Tokyo Olympics. 
Arshad son of a poor mason, has now become a medal hope for Pakistan and many have pinned hopes on the athlete, who is eager to win lone medal for his country. When Arshad Nadeem was going to throw the javelin in Tokyo Olympics, his friends and family members gathered at his house in Mian Chanu 101/15-L, Khanewal and soon after his direct qualification, they enjoyed this feat with great zeal and zest. Talking to The Nation, his father thanked the nation for their prayers for his son and also appealed to entire nation for more prayers so that he may give his best in the final and win medal for Pakistan.
