KARACHI -Top seed and favourites Farhan Zaman of PAF won the mens crown of the 5th DG Rangers Sindh National Ranking Squash here at DG Rangers Jahangir Khan Squash Complex the other day. Farhan took just 36 minutes to beat third seed Nasir Iqbal of Wapda 11-7, 11-5, 11-1 in the final. He was awarded with winners trophy along with Rs 78,500 cash award while Nasir took Rs 53, 500 as runners up prize money. The championships had carried Rs one million in prize money. Fourth seed Roshana Mahboob (ZTBL) whipped promising Saadia Gul (WAPDA) 11-6, 11-5, 11-6 in the final to win ladies title. She won Rs.37000 and Saadia Gul was awarded Rs.25000. Qualifier Asim Khan of Punjab won the boys Under 15 title by defeating Abbas Shaukat of PAF 11-6, 10-12, 7-11, 11-8 and 11-7 in 44 minutes.
