I participated in Waqt News programme “Insight” on July 3, 2016 and was interviewed by Salim Bokhari. The reports carried by The Nation and Nawa-e-Waqt today regarding my views are at variance with what I stated on camera. In both reports I have been quoted with remarks which are not mine. It appears that thoughts of its complier were inadvertently ascribed to me. What I stated was aired on Waqt News and is a matter of record. 

I am thankful to the Nation and Nawa-e-Waqt for publishing my articles accurately. In line with my views in those articles I did not ascribe any negative role to the politicians and talked of genuine apprehensions of the people who are opposed to the construction of Kalabagh Dam.
