Our Staff reporter MAILSI - The TMA has launched a grand operation against the land mafia and encroachers here the other day. The citizens have appreciated the step, saying at last their protests and appeals had made the authorities to arise from the deep slumber and take act against the encroachers. They were of the view that the removal of encroachments would help widen roads and end traffic mess, especially on the citys busy road like Quaid-e-Azam Road and Colony Road also. Meanwhile, TMO Mian Azhar pledged that action would continue against the land mafia and encroachers until a complete elimination of encroachments from the roads and other public places. He warned that if the shopkeepers and encroachers did not extend cooperation to the TMA staff stern legal action would be taken against them. He also appeal to the citizens to extend help and support to this noble cause.
