Eight die in Attock road accident

 ATTOCK  - Eight people, including three women and two children, were killed and six others sustained injuries when a Peshawar-bound Hiace collided with a truck on the motorway near Chachh Interchange in the jurisdiction of Hazro Police station. Rescue 1122 In-charge Dr Ashfaq Mian told The Nation that the Hiace (RI 1197) was on its way from Rawalpindi to Peshawar when reached near the Chachh Interchange it collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction and caught fire. He said that eight people, including three women and two children, were killed and six others sustained injuries.

The identity of those died could not be ascertained while those injured are identified as Salman, Muhammad, Zardeen, Shazeb, Sherwali and Shayan.
