ISLAMABAD - The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday met Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss the overall security situation.
According to official sources, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt General Faiz Hameed also attended the meeting.
A briefing was given to the civilian and military top brass on the overall internal and regional security situation.
The top military leadership called on Prime Minister at a time when the latter has decided to get a vote of confidence from the National Assembly after PTI candidate faced a defeat from PDM on a general seat of Islamabad in March 3 Senate election.
However, no official Press release was issued about the meeting.
