Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj ul Haq greeted Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Yousaf Raza Gillani on the historic victory of Senate elections 2021 via telephonic conversation on Friday.

In addition, he ensured Yousaf Raza the support of his party in chairman elections of Senate. The ECP, on the other hand,  is yet to air the authorized notifictaion of Yousaf Raza's victory. Advocate Azhar Siddique still maintains his petition over Maryam and Yousaf Raza’s son's conduct over rigging.

The plaintiff claims the conversation of Yousaf Raza and Maryam Nawaz need to be observed as the proof of rigging and demands court’s interference under the Sections 167, 168 and 170 of the Election Act.

He demanded from the Supreme court the probe in scrutiny of conduct as during the availability of technology why such issues are being faced.
