2 police patrolling parties come  under gunfire  in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi - The patrolling parties of police stations Banni and Airport came under heavy gunfire allegedly by the dacoits, informed sources on Tuesday.
Police also retaliated and managed to arrest a dacoit in injured condition. Another dacoit also suffered bullet injuries when his accomplice opened firing on police party to obtain his arrest, they said.
According to sources, a police party of PS Banni was on routine patrol in the area when three suspected dacoits riding on a motorcycle opened firing on cops. The police retaliated and shot at and injured a suspect Asad. The other two accomplices of the suspect managed to escape form the scene, they said adding that police held Asad and moved him to hospital for medical treatment. A police spokesman said the investigators of PS Banni seized a stolen motorcycle from possession of detained criminal.
On the other hand, a police party was taking a detained dacoit namely Amir Shehzad alias Chuha for recovery of booty in Dhoke Mahi when his accomplices launched armed attack on police to obtain release of dacoit. Police also fired at the dacoits who fled. However, Amir Chuha sustained bullet injuries with firing of his own accomplices and was moved to hospital for medical treatment, sources said. Separately, PS Airport officials claimed to have arrested three members of gang of dacoits involved in motorcycle snatching and robberies. 
Police also seized weapons, cash, mobile and motorcycle from the possession of dacoits identified as Asif alias Bablu (the ring leader of Bablu Gang), Sadam and Sultan, against whom cases were registered.
