3 people die of coronavirus in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi - As many as three people died due to coronavirus in Rawalpindi district on Tuesday, informed sources.
Some 120 people tested positive of deadly virus while 92 patients discharged from the hospitals during last 24 hours, they said. 
According to sources, Muhammad Javed, 67, resident of Sanazar Colony, was brought to Benazir Bhutto Hospital on May 3 and he died on Tuesday.   Similarly, Muhammad Akbar, 87, resident of city area, was brought to Holy Family Hospital on May 3 and he died on Tuesday.   
They said Fatima Bibi, 65, resident of city area, arrived at Isolation Hospital and Infectious Treatment Centre on May 3 and she died on Tuesday.   In Rawalpindi district, there are 1494 active patients. As many as 177 patients are in the hospitals including 70 patients arriving from other districts and 1317 patients are home isolated. As many as 697 patients are awaiting their results for Covid-19 serology.    
Total 120 new patients reported from the district while 89 patients from the garrison city including 27 patients from Cantonment and 31 patients arrived from Potohar Town and 31 from Rawal Town areas.       
From the other parts of the district, 16 patients came from Gujar Khan, two from Taxila, two from Kallar Syedan and three patients each from Islamabad and Chakwal, two from AJK while one patient each came from Attock, and Mianawali.
