Minister of State on Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi on Monday visited Madrassa Haqqani at Akora Khattak.

He met with the son of martyred Maulana Sami-ul-Haq and prayed for the departed soul of his father.

The minister assured that killers of JUI-S chief will be apprehended soon and brought to justice. Shehryar Khan Afridi said the martyrdom of Maulana Sami-ul-Haq is a great loss to Islam and humanity.

"I will present a report to PM Imran Khan tomorrow on this issue and justice will be served," he told.

On Nov 2, Senior religious scholar and a prominent political leader Maulana Samiul Haq has been assassinated at his residence in Rawalpindi
