ATTOCK  - A constable of Attock police was martyred by unknown motorcyclists when he was on patrolling duty in the jurisdiction of Fatehjang police station. The miscreants fled from the crime scene. DPO Attock who reached at the crime scene said that Constable Asim Ishaq sacrificed his life for a noble cause and his sacrifice will not go waste. He said that different teams had been constituted to arrest the culprits. DPO said that Constable Asim Ishaque had no enmity and was performing his duty and when tried to stop three armed dacoits who started firing which resulted in his martyrdom. Constable Asim Ishaq who belonged to Pindigheb has left bereaved his wife and a new-born daughter. Constable Asim Ishaq Shaheed was later buried at his ancestral graveyard with full police honour. Earlier, the funeral prayer of the martyred constable was offered at police lines Attock.
